ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Joseph H. YuenJoseph H. Yuen received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California (Los Angeles). He is the Chief Technologist of the Communications, Tracking, and Radar Division, and the Leader of the Deep Space Communications and Navigation Systems Center of Excellence, Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, California. He is the Series Editor of two active book series: JPL Deep Space Communications and Navigation, and JPL Space Science and Technology; both by John Wiley and Sons, Hoboken, New Jersey. He published a book, Deep Space Telecommunications Systems Engineering (ed.), published by NASA, Washington, D.C., 1982, and reprinted by Plenum, New York, 1983.
