ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Tseng-Chan Mike WangMike Wang received a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the National Chung-Hsing University in Taiwan and a M.S. and PhD. in Applied Mathematics from Lehigh University. Before Dr. Wang joined JPL in 1984, he was an Associate Professor of Mathematics and Computer Sciences at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Dr. Wang is currently a senior engineer in JPL's Navigation and Mission Design Section. He has supported several multi-mission navigation software sets and has served as a member of the navigation team for NEAR, DS1, and Stardust. Currently, Dr. Wang is working on the optical navigation image processing software for Cassini at Saturn.
